Tree and Sons were guests of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority who were celebrating their 30th Anniversary of involvement at Carew Castle and Tidal Mill on May 10th. 

The reception was held in the recently renovated Lesser Hall.

Mr Jack Tree, interviewed by  Radio Pembrokeshire at the event was congratulated by many of the guests on the splendid herirngbone patterned Douglas Fir timber roof, new oak windows and doors that our craftsmen had fitted to the hall last year said he was "very proud" of the work his team of heritage carpenters and masons had delivered on a complex project that had to take into consideration the site was not only a Scheduled Ancient Monument but a SSSI whilst the site also remained open to the public.

Tree and Sons are currently engaged in projects on 4 Castles, one in private ownership, and three being held by trusts!

2 CASTLE ROOF CONTRACTS IN A YEAR!

CARDIGAN CASTLE, CASTLE GREEN HOUSE

Tree & Sons Ltd have been appointed to fit the new roof to Castle Green House including the Medievial Round Tower Roof and to re-render and re-point the external walls of Castle Green House in natural lime mortar.

Works started on the 4th March 2013 and we expect to be on site for the next 4 months.

This is the 2nd phase of works we have been involved in for the Cadwgan Trust that is in the process of bringing one of Wales most important cultural sites back into use

CAREW CASTLE LESSER HALL

Tree and Sons Ltd have successfully completed the works at Carew Castle fitting a spectacular new roof, windows and doors to the Lesser Hall. Work Started in July 2012 and were completed on time and within Budget in Oct 2012.
